**kay, so i know the anatomy is super gross. don't yell. i did this in pen, no preliminary sketch, AND with my left hand (as i'm not using my right one this week)...i don't want to hear about how his muscles are weird or the arms are long or the face looks off center. yes, they are, yes, it is. thank you. this piece is about the idea.**

inspired by the most amazing book of all time, The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand. everyone should read it. on second thought, don't. don't read it. let it remain an underestimated masterpiece. it will retain some of my passion that way.

oh.

love.

think of me?
how come?
I like the transition of the inexplicable metamorphisis of this work. Great job!! :)
Mmmmmm....... Roark. I love that book so very much. Kudos on a very spiffy idea, I might have to rip it off a bit and do my own version. ;)

...Or maybe just reread the book.

(And if you redo it, make it more angly!!! Wheeeee, angles! ^_^)
It's like he's transforming out of a skyscraper.

thank you.

he is transforming out of a skyscraper...because those buildings are a part of him. they are in him.

:) thank you! it's unusual to see a man turn into a building (or vice versa) i'm glad you like it. ^_^

hm...well, it's mainly more the character...
well, i've always thought of you as minimalist,
as the most complicated form of simple that exists
and this man, Howard Roark, is very much that...indefinite simplicity.
and well, if i had to pick an inanimate object to represent you
i'd either choose a cup of tea or the most beautiful building on the face of the earth.
tall, simple, elegant...you are a skyscraper and a humble ocean home.
i'm not making sense...
but those words are my breadcrumb trail through the thoughts that compromise you.
